Today, we launched a brand new web site for Star Hill Solutions, a Half Moon Bay company known for their patented tractor attachments: Jawz is an revolutionary tree puller and brush remover and Quik Pik is versatile multi-purpose grapple.
The new site sports a bold and colorful new look reminiscent of the heavy machinery that Star Hill's customers rely on. A responsive design makes for a great user experience on both computers and mobile phones, and increases the company's search visibility in the mobile market (which makes up over 50% of all searches).
In addition to optimizing for mobile search, we also simplified the site structure to focus on the products and on the land management problems they help solve. We revised the site copy to use more customer-focused language and optimized the headings, page titles, images and meta tags. Redirects and an XML site map help insure that search engines can easily adapt to the new site structure.
